Flex Period Procedures

How to request a library pass for a Flex Period
All requests for using the library during a flex period must be submitted prior to 7:20 a.m. on the day of the Flex period.  Follow these steps to make your request:
Log in to school fusion. 
Go to the Library Media Center webpage and click on the "Flex Scheduling" Book.
Just below these directions is a section entitled "Flex Scheduling".  Click on "Discuss" beside the day and period you would like to come to the library.  (This will be updated every Friday for the following week.)
A new window will open.  Click on "Add Comment." 
Type either "computers" or "books" depending on what you need to use the library for and click "add comment." Do NOT type your name.  Your code name (a color and an animal) will identify you to the librarians.  NOTE:  Approval of comments in the blog does NOT mean approval to come to the library.  See #6.
At the beginning of Flex, report to your regular flex period teacher.  If your name was selected, your teacher will have received an email granting your permission to come to the library and will give you a pass (if they permit you to leave their class.)
Bring your pass and any needed materials to the library since you will remain there for the entire flex period.  Keep in mind you are expected to work appropriately or you may lose your rights to come to the library during flex periods.
